Washing instructions

If you follow the instructions below, you will enjoy your underwear longer.

  • Always follow the washing instructions on the label, this will extend the longevity of the garment.
  • Synthetic fabrics will look better and last longer if you wash them at a low temperature.
  • Lace and silk will retain their beauty if you wash them by hand or if your machine has a specially-designated programme for them.
  • It is best not to put your underwear in the dryer. Dryers can cause fabrics to fray. Elastic materials such as Lycra and Elastane can also dry out or become damaged in the dryer.
  • Do not use bleaching agents (chlorine).
  • We recommend that you don not iron your underwear unless they are made of 100% cotton.
  • Do not use spot removers, these are often too aggressive for the fabric.
  • Avoid contact with sun tanning cream or oil, these will cause stains which are hard to remove.
  • Fluorescent colours are generally less colour-retentive and will fade sooner.
  • Bright sunlight can also cause fabric to fade. Discolouration due to sunshine or bleaching agents is not covered under the guarantee.
  • Avoid contact with rough materials or surfaces as these may also cause the fabric to fray.

Complaints about articles that have been incorrectly treated will not be honoured.
